Export data & close your account

Organization export and closure are currently operator-assisted. There is no safe self-service delete button in the admin because a store spans litecommerce records, customer data, documents, payments, files, and configured providers.

An Owner can contact litecommerce to begin a verified request. Do not include customer personal data, credentials, payment details, or exported files in the contact form.

Choose the request you actually need

These are separate paths; one never silently becomes another:

RequestWhat it means
Export onlyReceive the approved organization data bundle. The store stays open and access is unchanged.
Close and retainEnd service and litecommerce-controlled access after settlement and export, while retaining records required by the approved policy.
Erase or anonymizeAfter export and review, delete or anonymize only the data approved for that request. Some legal, financial, security, backup, or dispute records may need to remain.

State the organization and requested path. litecommerce will verify the requester, selected store, policy version, financial/provider state, and delivery recipient before work begins.

Export comes before closure or erasure

For a close or erase request, the export is assembled and verified first. A store is not closed by deleting its organization row, and closing does not automatically delete provider-owned records or a tenant-owned storefront.

If your account belongs to multiple organizations, the request targets only the verified organization. Your reusable merchant identity and access to other stores are not silently removed.

What can delay a request

Processing pauses when the exact store or requester cannot be verified, or when there is unresolved money, an active dispute/subscription, in-flight fulfillment, a legal hold, provider ambiguity, or an unsettled retention decision. litecommerce will ask for the missing decision rather than guessing.

Before you request closure

  • Download any reports and records you need for day-to-day use.
  • Finish or explicitly disposition open bookings, orders, returns, invoices, refunds, disputes, and subscriptions.
  • Identify who is authorized to receive the export.
  • Decide whether you want export only, close and retain, or an erase/anonymize review.
  • Keep tenant-owned storefront repositories, deployments, domains, and secrets under your control; closure revokes litecommerce access but does not take ownership of them.

Security

Exports are never delivered through a public issue, chat, screenshot, or email attachment chosen ad hoc. The verified case establishes the recipient and approved secure delivery channel. Never post an export or its contents in a support thread.
